Hi there phoenix and thanks so much for your kind words! I must say that I certainly agree with you about this image and that is why I decided to enter Dreamscape into the Wacom contest. Mysterious chasm? Treasure? Another world perhaps? I felt the same things as you did and maybe I could add--a sense of Wonder. But all said and done, I'm very happy that you like the image so much and I'll try and create more "Dreamscapes" in the future. Take care!

Hi again, phoenix...thanks once again for your wonderful comments and thanks also for the Watch! Hehe, I imagine with almost 2,000 images in my gallery folders, you could indeed explore for quite some time. But for sure, take your time and visit as time permits. And one thing also about Dreamscape--I am thinking about doing a bit of "digging" with this image and changing the color scheme to see what might come out of it. There's a lot of things happening in this piece and I think I'll do some more exploring myself. Stay tuned!
